Serving the Rose Quarter as the Sr Manager of Booking and Event Development, Michael celebrated his 30th anniversary of working in the Events industry during the pandemic. His career has taken him from NE Ohio to NY; from London to Seattle and finally Portland. With a focus to accommodate the needs of our community, Michael successfully increased the overall event count and EOI, each by 150% throughout his time with RIP CITY. He is looking forward to providing OEA with a look back on how COVID impacted the industry and what they did to remain active and impactful when Portland needed it the most.
