What’s in store for Oregon’s Economy in 2020? And, how might it effect your business?

Portlanders and Oregonians, alike, have noticed significant changes in the economy in recent years. In 2011, Portland was the 18th wealthiest city in America among the 50 largest US cities – putting it right in the middle of the pack among large US cities. Today, Portland is the 11th wealthiest large city in the US, between Boston and Denver.

But, will Portland stay there, or are there indicators that change is on the horizon?

Join us Wednesday, October 30th at 11am as Portland Economist, Christian Kaylor, identifies the primary drivers behind the recent economic growth and primary risks to the future of our region’s growth and how this may impact you and your organization.

This presentation is open to the public, from 11am to 1pm, Wednesday, October 30th, in the Rose Room at the Moda Center and is sponsored by the Oregon Executives Association, one of Portland’s oldest and most prolific business networking organizations. Lunch is included. To reserve your seat, please click here to register online at, email admin@oregonexecutives.com  or call 503-286-9959.

An accomplished and engaging speaker, Christian, is a Workforce Economist for the Oregon Employment Department, specializing in the Portland area. He provides data analysis and advice relating to the Portland economy to local businesses, business associations, and government agencies to facilitate intelligent decision making.
